Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) · National Testing Agency (NTA)
CUET-UG is run by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to BBA, BMS, BCom, Economics, Finance and Liberal Arts programmes. 37 colleges listed here accept it, including Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Hindu College and Hansraj College.
185 universities used CUET-UG 2026 (48 central, 33 state, 23 deemed, 76 private, 5 other). DU CSAS 2026: 71,624 UG seats, 2.18 L registrations; Round 1 on 16–17 Jul, Round 2 on 25 Jul, Round 3 on 8 Aug, then spot rounds. DU scores here are 'minimum allocation scores' (the last score admitted in that round). They usually fall in later rounds. Compare only within the same year and programme, because the number of papers counted differs between programmes. NOT via CUET: Jamia Millia Islamia (B.Com Hons, BBA, BA Hons Eco use JMI's own entrance test), AMU (B.Com Hons via AMU admission test), JNU (no BBA/BCom/Eco UG; CUET only for BA foreign languages). Private and deemed universities on NTA's 2026 CUET list that offer in-scope programmes include Bennett, Azim Premji, BML Munjal, Mahindra, Alliance, Chanakya, Rishihood, UPES, Manipal Jaipur, Amity, Sharda, Galgotias, Jamia Hamdard, TERI SAS, ICFAI Hyderabad, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics University Bengaluru. Shiv Nadar, Christ and Symbiosis are not on NTA's list (they run their own tests). Check each university's own CUET subject rule before choosing your 5 subjects.
Class XII passed or appearing in 2026; no age limit for CUET. Each university sets its own programme eligibility (e.g. DU requires CUET subjects you studied in Class XII; BMS/BBA FIA need Maths in XII).
No minimum % or age limit for CUET itself; each university sets its own rules (e.g. DU BMS/BBA FIA need Maths in XII)
| Section | Questions | Minutes | Notes |

Pick up to 5 subjects. Each paper is a separate 60-min test with 50 compulsory questions. Multi-shift papers are normalised into NTA scores.
English & verbal: Language paper (usually English) = 1 of the 3–4 papers most universities count (e.g. 250 of ~1,000 marks for DU BMS); General Aptitude Test has no separate English section
No single CUET merit list. Each university decides which CUET subject combination counts for each programme and runs its own counselling (DU: CSAS; BHU, AU, UoH etc.: own portals). DU (2026): BMS / BBA (FIA) = one language + Maths/Applied Maths + one List B subject + General Aptitude Test (SSCBS FAQ). B.Com (Hons) = one language + Maths/Applied Maths or Accountancy + two subjects, best combination counts. BA (Hons) Economics = one language + Maths/Applied Maths + two subjects. B.Com (pass) = language + 3 subjects OR language + 1 subject + General Aptitude Test. Class XII marks are used only for tie-breaks at DU. St. Stephen's minority seats add an interview (85% CUET + 15% interview). BA (Hons) Business Economics (BBE) = one language (List A) + Maths/Applied Maths + General Aptitude Test (PW 2026 table; Careers360). In 2026 BBE was offered at 5 DU colleges: Aryabhatta, College of Vocational Studies, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Gargi (W), Lakshmibai (W) (DU seat matrix); SSCBS does not offer it.
