Overview

JIPMAT is run by National Testing Agency (NTA), for IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu for admission to IPM and BBA programmes. 3 colleges listed here accept it, including IIM Jammu, IIM Jammu – eBBA and IIM Bodh Gaya.

Only two IIMs use JIPMAT. There is no interview: the test score (plus board marks at Jammu) decides admission. Apply separately on each IIM's portal after the result.

Class XII passed in 2024 or 2025, or appearing in 2026; 60% in X and XII (55% SC/ST/PwD); no upper age limit.

The NTA bulletin sets no minimum %. The 60% rule (55% for SC/ST/PwD) is reported for IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu admissions; confirm on their sites.

No interview. IIM Jammu: must clear sectional percentiles (Gen 50, EWS/NC-OBC 35, SC 30, ST/PwD 25) → merit = JIPMAT percentile 70% + Class X 15% + Class XII 15%. IIM Bodh Gaya: sectional percentile floor → merit on JIPMAT score; offers in rolling lists after an Expression of Interest.
