Overview

Presidency Kolkata UG Test is run by Presidency University, Kolkata for admission to Economics programmes. 1 college accepts it: Presidency University, Kolkata.

Economics at Presidency is a BSc, not a BA, and 35 of the 50 test questions are Maths — so this suits students comfortable with Class XII-level maths even though Maths is not a formal eligibility requirement. The test is held only at the Kolkata campus. Many coaching sites still describe this as 'PUBDET'; the 2026 brochure does not mention WBJEEB at all. The application window is very short (about two weeks in late May).
